India has come up to speed with programmatic with some of the major brands driving all display activities through programmatic, while the publisher space is seeing 70% to 80% of their revenues also coming in from programmatic buying. While the shift to video was an easy one for the brands heavily invested in TV, native advertising seems to be next big wave to hit the digital marketing arena. Couple this with 80% internet consumption happening on mobile with 50% data usage for video content. The big question remains, how long before Native and Video dominate the programmatic space, given the higher conversion rate for native ads, and the burgeoning growth of VOD content.
